You will lead Big data related projects, bridging R&D engineers requirements (analytics/interface) with IT side (Data process/platform functionalities, etc).
The role will include the following
Lead requirements discussions with stakeholders from data analysis, data requirements and platform requirement.
Translate the business requirements into technical requirements, user stories and business use cases
Contribute to all applied engineering activities including, requirements collection and identification and ideas generation
Partner with business and IT stakeholders to create scalable big data solutions and accelerate enablement of data platform
Working in close collaboration with platform team drive platform strategies and roadmaps for data engineering capability strategy governance and execution
Supporting the user community Defining methodologies of test and implement functional and non-functional integration tests
Supervise and unsure the data collection activity
Be able to support collection planning, and installation
Requirements
Relevant experience as business / functional analyst in several projects.
R&D experience, working with engineers as end users, able to translate engineering processing & analysis requirements into IT structures & systems.
Able to support R&D in data science & activities related with Big Data to support engineers to do things in a new, more efficient way (for example using Machine learning), be able to challenge old methods, status quo.
Experience in Big Data, Data Engineering. This might include ETL, data analysis or data visualisation is required
Commercial solution architecture experience in Big Data technologies and environments such as Spark, AWS, Microsoft Azure and GCP.
Experience working in a formal software development lifecycle environment following a formal project management process
Familiarity with Agile development practices
