​Background on the role
In this position you will work with managers of individual packaged gases sites and be in charge of the operational management of an entire team of around 50 people in total, including 30 external subcontractors (mainly truck drivers).​

Your main objectives will be to guarantee total Security (zero accident policy), optimal customer delivery and a constant search for continuous improvement in order to optimise service at the best cost.

​You will report to the Northern Europe Supply Chain Manager, your interactions with the other teams will be numerous in order to create synergies and exchanges of best practices.

​You will work across a number of regions in Germany (Bochum, Heilbronn, Lüneburg, Berlin, Köln and Osnabrück), as well as the logistics planning centre.

​Requirements

• Hands on engineer
• 10 years in an operational position (similar type of role)
• Have worked in a production environment
• You have proven experience with Safety, Quality and cost optimisation
• Strong and positive management style with the ability to develop talent
• English speaker
