Do you have strong experience as a scrum master? We are looking for an IT experienced Scrum Master within the area of “Data and Insights” for an international automotive company. This role is for the Mobility & Connected Car division.
Background
The core of what we do is gathering data from the connected vehicles and making this data available for adding value services. These services can be new features in the mobile app, portal or multimedia unit (B2C) or value-adding services targeting either improved vehicle quality and customer retention or generation of future revenue flows (B2B).
Responsibilities
Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
Facilitating discussion, decision making and conflict resolution
Making sure backlog is up-to-date and in line with requirements and priorities provided by Product Owners and Delivery Stream Owner.
Helping the Product Owner in organising and facilitating meetings and making sure the high priorities and stories are aligned to start working on in the next sprint.
Define DoD together with the team and watch over the proper execution of it
Liaise between the Solution architects and Senior Devs by making sure that technical solutions fit in the roadmap towards the reference architecture.
Guiding the team on self-organising
Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing blockers
Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example.
Liaising with other scrum teams on inter-team dependencies during Scrum of Scrums.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience with widely successful Agile techniques like User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, etc.
Experience in using the Atlassian stack (Confluence, Jira)
Applicable knowledge/background of the technologies used by the team would be very beneficial (Java 12, Spring 5, Cloud platforms AWS/Azure, EDA, DDD, Kubernetes, Docker)
Solid experience as a scrum master, preferably in different (types of) organisations that were applying Scrum principles, practices and theory.
Ability to analyse, think and decide quickly and thought out
Strong communication, coaching and mentoring skills
Ability to adapt to a changing environment
Self-motivated and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
You are open, approachable, collaborative and proactive in solving problems to help the team succeed
Finally, like to work in a challenging & international environment that constantly evolve.
